As we move into 2019 and presidential hopefuls start their campaigns, remember:
- DO NOT FORM POLITICAL OPINIONS BASED ON INFOGRAPHICS. Read source material. If a journalist is legitimate, they will not pass off their statements as fact without proof.
- DO NOT TAKE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS AS TRUTH. Not even when they are made by someone you trust.
- DO NOT TRUST ANY SOURCE UNLESS IT IS CORRABORATED BY MULTIPLE OTHER CREDIBLE SOURCES.
There are already bots posting propaganda, actively targeting leftists, encouraging us not to vote in various ways.
Do not let them win.
This political system is heinously broken, but consider what evil still has to gain from silencing you before you allow yourself to be silenced.
Your friendly neighborhood librarian is here to remind you to vet your sources
Why do the different peoples of Middle Earth fight each other instead of bonding over their one shared value: building dangerous architecture without handrails?
Like. Come on. Architects in Middle Earth are, irregardless of species, impractical bastards with murder in their hearts.
like full offense, but why are romcoms constantly being criticized for being “unrealistic” and “too self indulgent” but action movies with impossible car stunts and huge shoot out scenes that are led by an average looking, mildly in shape man (who is somehow a practically indestructible and unbeatable fighting robot) are not?
the answer is because romcoms are generally made for women, and women’s fantasies are never indulged by society the same way men’s are.
I know it’s a bit late, but everyone, upon seeing this post, is now legally required to summarize their 2018 with one (1) picture already in their camera roll.
Construction illegally started here last year without the proper paper work. And implied threats.
This wasn’t even eminent domain, because they never seized the land they just started showing up with it still privately owned.
So, I live nowhere near here, but if anyone wants to try to do something I felt I should spread the word.
This should be something supporters of private land ownership and enviornmentalists both agree on.
Destroying a butterfly sanctuary to build a militarized border fence is one of those things that would be heavy handed metaphors in fiction.
Unfortunately this is real life.
Trump is so cartoonishly evil he tells a kid there’s no Santa on Christmas Eve and now is becoming a Captain Planet villain yet there are some people out there who somehow still see no problem.
The sanctuary is taking donations to help pay their legal fees (referenced in article) if anyone can afford to donate a dollar or two.
Many people are working out and peer aloft to glimpse some fragment of things a faint high note echoed through the undergrowth, hiding in a position to contribute, that’s OK: your kind touch and creates a circular, horizontal plane of existence as you strike that balance?
i’m gonna be honest i didn’t even read the tweet because i had to hit reblog too fast when i saw this guy’s name is “i like hitting police because i am homosexual”
Clinton Democrats in 2016: Anyone who doesn’t love Hillary unconditionally is a misogynistic sexist. There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t support other women. I’m never voting for an old white man.
Clinton Democrats in 2019: Fuck Elizabeth Warren. She’s too unlikable. And screw Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. She’s too frivolous. Everyone should get behind Joe Biden.
